Frequently Asked Questions

Who can apply?

This program is for people facing employment barriers and those who have never worked with IT or AI before. Single parents, people with foreign roots, those with school avoidance or hikikomori experience, and people from many different backgrounds have participated. If you're thinking "Is it really okay for me to apply?" — that's exactly who we made this for. Submit the form or come to an info session.
Is there any cost?

Tuition is completely free. Additionally, 3 "living expense support" spots provide ¥200,000 per month for 3 months of study.
Is it okay if I'm not good with computers?

If you can do basic computer operations, no specialized knowledge is needed at all. "I don't use it every day but I can sort of get around" is perfectly fine. If you've touched Excel or PowerPoint at least a little, you're ready. Everything beyond that we learn together.
I'm worried about finding time while raising children.

All classes are online with recordings available. You can study after the kids go to bed or in spare moments. Weekly meetings require attendance, but we're flexible with scheduling — just let us know your situation.
What if I fall behind?

That's exactly why we layer the support: twice-weekly Q&A sessions, monthly mentor check-ins, and a 24/7 AI tutor. If you still get stuck, we'll figure out together how to get back on track.
What happens after the program ends?

You'll have real work experience and a portfolio to show for it, and we'll use Robo Co-op's network to connect you with companies. We prepare together so "graduation = nothing" never happens.
I'm worried about my Japanese language skills.

We provide support in plain, accessible Japanese, and we have multilingual staff as well. Feel free to ask any questions at an info session — we're happy to help.
